State commissions correspondence, ca.1960-1982.

This series contains letters both to and from the Governor's office relating primarily to membership on the various commissions established by the Governor. Included are letters of resignations, letters confirming appointment and other communications regarding the various commissions. Some of the material in each folder dates from the early 1960s while the most recent material dates to the early 1980s. There are some files labeled "crossfiles" which contain appointment letters for a number of commissions.
